Holladay Rotary to host a “Food for Thought” Dinner and Silent Auction

Holladay Rotary Club’s “Food for Thought” dinner and silent auction will be held at the Cottonwood Country Club on the evening of Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

Beginning at 6:00 p.m., the evening honors Kimberly Oborn, Food Program Coordinator for the Granite Education Foundation, for guiding the recent expansion of school pantry offerings to include basic fresh and perishable foods.

In recent years, Oborn has focused her work on increasing access to healthy foods and normalizing the use of school pantries, currently serving 8,000 to 10,000 hungry children and 70% of Utah refugees living within the boundaries of the Granite School District.

The Granite Education Foundation exists to reduce learning barriers by supplying food assistance, student aid and educator support.

Seating is limited to 100 Rotarians and friends of Rotary. The cost is $65 per person with proceeds to provide funding for various school pantries and other Holladay Rotary “service above self” projects throughout the upcoming year.

To reserve your place at the table, please Venmo payment to @Holladay-RotaryClub.
